Winging the interview. Practice! If you practice ahead of any interview, you'll be better prepared and confident, something that will impress your interviewer.

Improper dress You make your greatest influence on the interviewer in the first 17 seconds - an impression you want to make powerfully positive. Minimal jewelry, conservative style. Prepare answers to likely questions associated with an engagement ring or wedding ring.

Inquiring about benefits too early. If you are only interested on the salary, the employer won't hesitate to fail your applications immediately.

Arriving late for the consultant geriatrician interview. Get directions from the interviewer - or a map. Make your travel arrangements and verify them before the interview.

Now its time for the one on one interview with the employer itself. Be aware that although some selection committees would like you to be at ease and have fun throughout an interview, you'll find others who are blatantly inhospitable to be able to evaluate your reaction.
